Welcome to our specialist dental care and radiology department in Örebro. We are looking for you who, together with other employees, want to drive the unit's development into the future. Six employees work at the department. You now have the chance to become part of our team!

The unit also includes Apnea/Sleep Medicine and Occlusal Physiology. The following specialties are represented at the Public Dental Service's Specialist Dental Care: Occlusal Physiology, Apnea, Endodontics, Dental Radiology, Orthodontics, Periodontology, Pediatric Dentistry, and Oral Prosthetics. We collaborate with the Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic and have close cooperation in care, education, and research with the nearby University Hospital and Örebro University.

The position primarily involves image capture, as well as administrative tasks. This means you will work with your own patients together with the team. You should have an interest in further developing within dental radiology.

You are a trained dental hygienist and wish to work with both pediatric and adult dental care. It is an advantage if you have documented experience in the dental hygienist profession. You master the Swedish language and express yourself well in speech and writing. You have documented knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least C1 level according to the Council of Europe's scale. As a dental hygienist, you have a good sense of service, enjoy taking personal responsibility, and are self-reliant in your professional role.

We work with digital record keeping in Frenda, so you need to be computer literate. We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as good collaboration and initiative skills. As a person, you are flexible and accustomed to handling many different responsibilities.

The Public Dental Service of Region Örebro County works actively with preventive dental care and Frisktandvård, all to ensure that our county residents get the best possible oral health. We offer dental care at 21 general dental clinics and 8 specialist dental clinics. We have a dental technical laboratory, a public health unit, and an education and research unit closely linked to Örebro University.
